If You Must – Lower Body
Is there more to lower body work than squats and deadlifts?
There are lots of reasons to avoid the squat or deadlift, but most of them are poor. Guys, you probably don’t have bad knees and ladies, you don’t need to use the adductor machine (a.k.a. “anybody’s girl”).
This episode of The Mighty Cast is for more advanced lifters who – rather than avoid the squat and deadlift – want to supplement it. In this case, some other lower body exercises may be appropriate including:
- Single Leg Work
- Leg Press
- Leg Extension
- Leg Curls
- Calf (standing and seated)
And lots of good little tangents as usual ;)
